The Institute for Standardization of Serbia (ISS) took part in the 49th International Building Trade Fair with a lecture titled “Directions of Development in Construction Standardization”, delivered by Jelena Skoković, Head of the Division for metallurgy, mechanical engineering, construction and transport. The presentation took place today at 13:30 in Hall 1 of the Belgrade Fair.
The event attracted a wide audience, including industry experts, engineers, students, and representatives of construction companies. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the work of the ISS, the roles and activities of various national technical committees (NTCs), and the functionalities of the portal for construction products.
Jelena Skoković provided valuable insights into current developments in construction standardization, placing particular emphasis on the upcoming Regulation for Construction Products, which is set to come into force on 8 January , 2026. She also highlighted key updates related to the second generation of Eurocodes.
