Successful Completion of the Recertification Audit of the ISS Integrated Management System

The Institute for Standardization of Serbia (ISS) has successfully completed another recertification audit of its Integrated Management System (IMS), confirming the system’s compliance with the requirements of the international standards SRPS ISO 9001:2015 – Quality management systems and SRPS ISO/IEC 27001:2022 – Information security management systems.

The recertification audit represents an important confirmation that the Institute manages its business processes in a systematic and responsible manner, with a continued commitment to quality, risk management and information security.

Sixteen Years of Continuity

The ISS has been continuously implementing and improving its Integrated Management System since 2010, when a system integrating quality management and information security management was first established and certified.

Over the past 16 years, the system has been regularly assessed through external audits, including eight surveillance audits and five recertification audits. Each new cycle confirms the system’s compliance while also identifying opportunities for its further improvement.

Following the previous successful audit in 2023, the successful completion of the audit in 2026 confirms the continuity of the system’s implementation and marks the beginning of a new three-year certification cycle.

Quality and Security as the Foundation of Trust

The implementation of SRPS ISO 9001:2015 ensures a systematic approach to quality management and the continual improvement of processes, while SRPS ISO/IEC 27001:2022 establishes requirements for the systematic management of information security, data protection and information-related risks.

For the Institute for Standardization of Serbia, the consistent application of these principles represents an important element of responsible business management.

The successful recertification further confirms the ISS’s commitment to continual improvement, effective management of processes and risks, and maintaining information security.

At the same time, a stable and internationally recognized management system contributes to the trust of users and partner organizations and provides further confirmation of the ISS’s professionalism as the national standards body and a full member of the international organizations ISO and IEC, as well as the European standardization organizations CEN and CENELEC.
