In anticipation of the observance of the International Guide Dog Day, as well as on the occasion of the birthday of the therapy dog Nana, the PET Therapy Center “Friendly Paw”, in cooperation with the Institute for Standardization of Serbia, is organizing a professional and educational event titled “The Impact of Therapy Dogs on Child Development_._”
The “Friendly Paw” Center specializes in dog-assisted therapy and is dedicated to providing support to children with developmental disabilities and their families. Through modern, professionally guided programs, the Center conducts training for dogs and their owners, as well as additional education for professionals who wish to incorporate therapy dogs into their work.
The event will be held on April 24 at 12:00 pm at Hotel Mona Plaza in Belgrade.
During the lectures, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of therapy dogs through practical examples and experiences working with children and dogs. Special focus will be placed on the role of standards in working with service and therapy dogs, as well as on the importance of their application in improving service quality.
Following the official part of the program, a segment for informal networking, exchange of experiences, and professional connections will be organized.
