Artificial Intelligence (AI) - Standards, European Regulations, Legislation, and Practical Challenges

The Institute for Standardization of Serbia invites you to a promotional seminar on Tuesday, 11 February, 2025, from 10:00 to 15:30.

This seminar will provide an opportunity for participants to familiarize themselves with basic terminology, concepts, risks, and organizational management related to artificial intelligence. A series of standards related to AI will be presented, including SRPS ISO/IEC 22989:2023, ISO/IEC 42001:2024; SRPS ISO/IEC 23894:2023, SRPS ISO/IEC 38507:2023 and ISO/IEC FDIS 42005.

Special emphasis will be placed on regulations governing this topic, such as the European Regulation EU - 2024/1689 - Harmonized rules for artificial intelligence, as well as the Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence in the Republic of Serbia (SGRS 96/2019) and its innovation.

Lecturer: Dr. Radoslav Raković, a regular member and Vice President of the Serbian Academy of Engineering (IAS), Secretary of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of IAS and Director of the IAS Institute, IMS Service Energoinvest Entel a.d. Belgrade.
