Webinar for the students of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Belgrade

On 26 May 2022, an online presentation of the Institute for Standardization of Serbia was successfully held as part of a guest lecture at the final classes in the subject of Quality Management and Commercial Product Knowledge for fourth-year students at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade.

During one hour, about 70 students, future managers studying in the fields of Management, Marketing and Trade Marketing and Management had the opportunity to get acquainted with national standardization, but also with the organization of standardization activities at European and international level.

In addition to the introductory presentation on the activities and mission of the Institute, students learned what standards are and what are the advantages of their use, how they are adopted and what are the steps in the process of adopting standards. Special emphasis, given their future profession, is focused on standards for management systems, which are explained by the types and benefits they bring to organizations that implement them, with a few practical examples.

This was the second webinar specially prepared for students of Economics, considering that they will also come across the standards in their work, regardless of whether they will work in the SME sector or in multinational companies.
