Where and how to find the link between national regulations and standards?

The standard is a technical document that is developed as a result of the best world practice and its application is voluntary. Organizations of all types and sizes around the world apply and implement standards to improve their business, although they are not required to do so by law. However, in certain areas, regulatory bodies enact various regulations that refer to the relevant standards. In such cases, the application of the provisions of the standard is a presumption and proof of compliance with legal regulations.

Due to the direct link between the regulations and certain Serbian standards, a special place is provided on the ISS website where users can find each national technical regulation that mentions Serbian standards. The search is performed according to a keyword, for which a part of the name of a regulation or the name of the body that issued that regulation is selected. Below each of the national technical regulations (regulations, laws, by-laws and other applicable regulations) in the name of which the requested word appears, there are designations of Serbian standards to which the regulation refers to, and each designation is an active link that "leads" users to a page with more information on that standard.
