Updated and revised new electronic issues of standards collections in the field of low-voltage electrical installations

ISS has published four updated, revised, and supplemented new electronic issues of collections in the field of low-voltage electrical installations. The collections form an edition under the title that united the first editions from 2014 – „Low-Voltage Electrical Installations.“ The edition includes the following titles: Basic principles, Basic Principles, Definitions, and Testing (Book 1); Protection for the Purpose of Achieving Safety (Book 2); Selection and Installation of Electrical Equipment (Book 3); Requirements for Special Installations or Locations (Book 4).

Given the importance of low-voltage electrical installations, as well as the practical demands of a wide range of professionals in this field and the requirements of the Serbian Chamber of Engineers as a professional association, ISS has continued translating published documents from English into Serbian to facilitate and expand their practical application.

„Low-voltage ellectrical installations – Book 1: Basic principles, definitions and testing“

The first electronic collection consists of eight Serbian standards published in Serbian, as well as two standards and seven related documents published in English. They establish: the assessment of general characteristics, terms and definitions; basic principles and requirements for electrical installations, systems and equipment necessary for their coordinated operation; verification; requirements and assessment of energy efficiency; additional requirements for electrical installations of combined power generation/purchase systems.

„Low-voltage ellectrical installations – Book 2: Protection for the purpose of achieving safety”

The second electronic collection consists of eight Serbian standards and two related documents published in Serbian, and two related documents published in English.

The standards in this collection relate to protection for safety. They cover topics such as protection against electric shock, protection against thermal effects, protection against overcurrent, protection against faults 1 in low-voltage systems, protection against electromagnetic influence, and protection against undervoltage.

„Low-voltage ellectrical installations – Book 3: Selection and installation of electrical equipment ”

The third electronic collection consists of eight Serbian standards and five related documents published in Serbian, and eight related documents published in English.

The standards in this collection provide guidance for the selection of electrical equipment and its installation. These standards cover: general rules, electrical distribution, switchgear, earthing and protective conductors, low-voltage generators, luminaires and lighting installations, and safety systems.

„Low-voltage ellectrical installations – Book 4: Requirements for special installations and locations”

The fourth electronic collection consists of twenty-one Serbian standards and one related document published in Serbian, and two Serbian standards and fifteen related documents published in English.

The standards from the SRPS HD 60364-7 series contain requirements for special installations or locations that correspond to the requirements from the general parts of the SRPS HD 60364 series (SRPS HD 60364-1 to SRPS HD 60364-6), as well as additional specific requirements or explanations from other parts of the SRPS HD 60364 series.
