Cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering Sciences, University of Kragujevac

The Institute for Standardization of Serbia pays great attention to cooperation with educational institutions. Every year, the Institute organizes trainings for students. In addition, 59 educational institutions have 192 representatives in 133 NTCs and 2 ISS Expert Councils. In order to develop long-term cooperation, agreements on business and technical cooperation have been signed with several faculties, one university, as well as the Rectorate of the University of Belgrade.

The latest agreement of this kind was signed last week, and it refers to the established cooperation between the Institute and the Faculty of Engineering Sciences in Kragujevac (http://www.mfkg.rs/sr/). This faculty includes six departments: for production machinery, for motor vehicles and engines, for mechanical constructions and mechanization, for applied mechanics and automatic control, for energy and process technology, and for electrical engineering. There are six study programs for undergraduate studies, nine study programs for master's studies, and four study programs for doctoral studies.

Future cooperation will include activities aimed at contributing to information and education about the national standardization system, in order to enable students and other interested parties to acquire knowledge in the field of standardization, as well as the entire quality infrastructure.

The Faculty of Engineering already has one representative engaged in the adoption of Serbian standards in the field of motor vehicles. Also, a doctoral student at this faculty represented our country at international student workshops and will share her experience at the workshop for students, which will be held next week (https://iss.rs/sr_Cyrl/studentizatsija-standardizatsije_p1244.html). A dozen students of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences in Kragujevac have so far applied to participate in the upcoming online workshop.
