Every year, the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) holds its General Assembly, which includes the organization of the “IEC Young Professionals Workshop.” The goal is for young experts to get acquainted with the work of the IEC, contribute to building a network of young professionals, deepen their knowledge of standardization, and join the work of IEC technical committees as national experts.
Traditionally, the Institute for Standardization of Serbia sends an invitation to its members to nominate representatives. This year, Luka Ivanović, an electrical engineer at the Nikola Tesla Institute, and Marko Tajdić, a senior technical associate at the Institute Mihajlo Pupin, will be going to New Delhi.
Thanks to their previous work in national standardization committees, these young engineers have already established themselves as leaders who can contribute to the development of standardization at the global level. They will have this opportunity this year from September 15 to 19 in India.
