The first ordinary session of the ISS Assembly in 2021 was held on 21 October 2021, at the “Klub poslanika” in Belgrade. On that occasion, the invitation to participate was sent to all ISS Assembly members, the representative of the founder (Government of the Republic of Serbia) as well as to the authorized representatives of all ISS members.
This session is especially important due to the election of new representatives from among the members of the Institute in its governing bodies, namely: the Chairperson of the ISS Assembly, two members of the Managing Board, as well as one member of the Supervisory Board. The agenda included a total of 16 items, among others, the appointment of the Commission for voting and presentation of candidates.
In addition, the following documents were adopted at this session: Minutes from the second ordinary session of ISS Assembly in 2020, Report on the implementation of the Plan for Adoption of Serbian Standards and Related Documents for 2020, as well as Rules of Procedure for Amendments to the Rules of Procedure for the standardization of Serbia. Also, regular annual reports for the previous year were accepted: Report on the work of the ISS Managing Board in 2020, Financial Report of the Institute for 2020 and Report on the implementation of the Work Program for 2020, as well as information on the Report on Supervision of Legality of work of the bodies and financial operations of the Institute for Standardization of Serbia in 2020, which was prepared by the Supervisory Board of the Institute.
Upon completion of the planned activities, the voting results were announced. For the next term of four years, Ms. Tanja Petrović, Ministry of Economy, Sector for Quality and Product Safety, was elected Chairperson of the ISS Assembly, and Mr. Vladimir Vukašinović, Kvalitet a.d. Niš and Mr. Dušan Stokić, Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, while Ms. Mirjana Kijevčanin, Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, was elected a member of the Supervisory Board.
