ISS organized a webinar for students

On Friday, May 28, 2021, a one-hour webinar for students was held, which was another opportunity to introduce the work of the Institute for Standardization of Serbia to the students.

At this webinar, the ISS representatives presented the Institute´s activities, the work of domestic experts in the NTCs, as well as in international and European technical committees. The process of adopting standards was explained, and the importance of involving interested parties in national standardization through commenting on the texts of draft Serbian standards was especially emphasized. This year, socializing with students was virtual for the first time, at two events in May, the first webinar for students of the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade was successfully held.

ISS pays special attention to maintaining continuous cooperation with universities, with the aim of introducing students to the benefits of applying standards. During the past years, a large number of academics visited the Institute, and ISS representatives also had several guest lectures at different faculties.
