After the NTC KS E034-17, Food Safety Management Systems, prepared a draft of the original Serbian standard naSRPS E.A0.011-1, Halal production - Part 1: General requirements, the Institute for Standardization of Serbia puts this draft standard to a public hearing that will last until April 12, 2021. All interested parties may, during the public enquiry period, submit their remarks and comments to the responsible NTC.
This standard sets out the requirements and conditions for halal food products and their production, labeling and transport. The standard applies to the entire system of the food industry (from the field to the table), as well as to the entire system of catering services.
Annex A to this standard sets out the requirements for Halal cosmetics and the requirements for pharmacological Halal products in Annex B.
