New standard for human resource management

In the dynamic and competitive landscape of modern business, continuous professional development (CPD) is an imperative for organizations to thrive. The most valuable asset of any organization is its people, the repository of knowledge and skills that drive innovation and success. Therefore, human resource management (HRM) has emerged as a critical area of management, shaping the effectiveness and achievements of organizations. CPD empowers employees to stay abreast of evolving industry trends, adapt to technological advancements, and refine their expertise.

The latest one is SRPS ISO 30422:2023 — Human resource management — Learning and development. This document gives guidance for the organization of learning and development in the workplace. This comprehensive guide outlines the processes for identifying and addressing learning and development needs, providing a framework for regular planning of these activities in alignment with identified gaps. The guide establishes clear processes for implementing, evaluating, and monitoring learning programs, ensuring their effectiveness in achieving desired outcomes. Additionally, it provides practical advice for measuring the effectiveness of these programs, enabling organizations to assess the impact of their learning and development initiatives. The Annexes serve as a valuable resource, offering a summary of the nine most commonly used learning methods (Annex A) and examples of four learning and development metrics (Annex B), empowering organizations to make informed decisions about their learning strategies.
