Second generation of Eurocodes

By registering and logging on to the ISS website, users get the opportunity to read and comment on draft Serbian standards. All current draft standards can be found on the home page of the website (in its lower part), or can be accessed via following link: https://iss.rs/sr_Cyrl/project/list.

The drafts of Serbian standards in the field of designing steel and aluminum structures are, among others, currently in the public enquiry stage. It is expected that in the next 2 years, in March and September, new drafts of Serbian standards in the field of Eurocodes will be available in the public enquiry stage. By regularly following up on the draft Serbian standards, you can get acquainted in a timely manner with the development of new parts of Eurocodes that are harmonized with the technical and technological development of the construction industry and include aspects of assessment, reuse and renovation of existing structures.

All interested parties can access the texts of these drafts during the public enquiry stage for each standard (usually a period of 60 days from the date of its launch) and thus become acquainted with the content of the standard before its final adoption. In addition, all interested parties can submit their comments and suggestions on the content of the draft, if they have them, and thus influence the quality of future Serbian standards. It is possible to leave three types of comments: editorial, general or technical and enter a proposal for a specific change (which can refer to text, formula, image or table).

Depending on the interest, registered users can use the advanced search to find drafts of Serbian standards from different areas of standardization. It is necessary to select the ISS as the initiator of the project, and as the current stage the code 40.20 - Draft at the public enquiry 60 days.
