The first issue of the ISS Bulletin “Standardization” was published today

A full 70 years after the publication of the first issue of the bulletin "Standardization", and after a 17-year break in the publication of this publication, today, the first issue of the renewed ISS Bulletin is available to all. Although ISS has informed its users using different channels - ISS Information, website, ISS News and social networks, our users still lacked a professional magazine in which they can get more detailed information about everything related to standardization.

In accordance with the current situation, in the first issue of the bulletin "Standardization" we paid great attention to the crisis COVID-19, both through the presentation of our collection "Crisis COVID-19: From managerial theory to practice" and through an interview on crisis management with prof. Dr. Zoran Keković, a national and international expert in the field of societal security and resilience. In connection with the current pandemic, there is also a text dedicated to the guidelines for face masks intended for the general population, as well as a text on recommendations for reliable measurement of body temperature.

In this issue of the bulletin, a special place was dedicated to the text on Serbian standards and women's entrepreneurship, with several examples of our companies with women as CEOs or managers who have recognized the importance of applying the standards and have already achieved better business results.

In addition, in this issue you will be able to read about news in national, European and International standardization related to water resources and wastewater treatment, but also a text about bio-sporin, biodegradable styro-foam, which is declared the best technological innovation in Serbia for 2020, due to its properties. By the way, the ISS Bulletin will be published four times a year and you will be able to read about news from standardization, quality infrastructure, innovations, etc., but also to meet associates and members of the Institute, as well as members of NTCs, who will talk about your experiences in the field of standardization, in the following issues.

We hope that in this or the next issues of the ISS Bulletin “Standardization” you will find the answer to the questions regarding standardization, and if that is not the case, feel free to write to us about what you would like to read in the Bulletin pages and, thus, influence its contents.
