ISS representatives participated in the panel discussion dedicated to the green transition and the challenges of the domestic economy in that process. Marina Donić spoke about the work of the national standardization body and the marking of standards in this area, and about responsibility for a sustainable future, Dr. Miloš Jelić, Chairperson of the Expert Council of FQCE and member of the ISS Managing Board. Dr. Radoslav Raković spoke about the connection between energy and the environment, through specific projects of Energoprojekt-ENTEL, where this meeting was held.
At the panel, the Green Declaration of the PKS was presented, the goal of which is to encourage and support companies in the process of transitioning to a circular business model, while preserving competitiveness and efficiency. Mr. Dušan Stokić, head of the Center for Environment, Technical Regulations, Quality and Social Responsibility at PKS and Chairperson of ISS NTCs KS A207 - Management systems for environmental protection and KS A268 - Sustainability and social responsibility, gave a special review of the application of international standards as support for the green transformation of the Serbian economy.
