Apstrakt

The pressure and distention produced by steel ball pressed against a disk of leather are recorded at grain crack and at burst. Specification of used apparatus, test pieces, procedure and test report. The method is intended particularly for use with boot and shoe upper leather, but may also be applied to any light leather.
