Apstrakt

This standard covers the performance and test methods for non-metallic pipe and fittings to be used in above ground water based fire protection systems. This piping is intended for use in occupancies with limited fire loading.

The requirements covered by this standard do not address compatibility of non-metallic pipe and fittings with materials or products that may be in contact during storage, handling, or use.
