Apstrakt

This document summarises the current knowledge on uniform, non-spherical reference materials. It discusses different definitions of “uniform” and “non-spherical”, reviews the techniques used to characterise the materials, reviews which techniques require such reference materials and reviews whether information other than size and shape (e.g. density) is required.
