Tourism and related services — Business Tourism — Vocabulary

Apstrakt

This document defines terms and concepts used in the field of business tourism. It applies to cross-regional travel activities undertaken for official, commercial or professional purposes, including non-leisure trips arranged, funded, authorized or supported by enterprises, public authorities, professional bodies or other organizations.
The vocabulary covers incentive tourism, corporate travel, business and industrial visits, investment and trade missions, training and study tours, buying missions, temporary assignments, project-based travel, support services, traveller experience, service quality, safety, sustainability and organizational value.
This document does not cover terminology within the scope of ISO/TC 354 or ISO/TC 354/SC 1, and is not intended to define terms primarily related to event management, exhibitions as events, or general leisure tourism.
