Sustainable cities and communities — Guidance on establishing the indicator library for cities’ sustainable development (ILCSD)

Apstrakt

This document provides guidance on the principles, framework, establishment process, update and maintenance mechanism, and application methods for the Indicator Library for Cities' Sustainable Development (ILCSD). It offers a general evaluation tool for global cities to respond to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adapting to the needs of cities and communities at different development stages and with diverse development pathways. This document is applicable to stakeholders committed to promoting the implementation of SDGs, including government departments, relevant research organizations, and enterprises engaged in urban planning, construction and management.
