Corrosion of metals and alloys — Evaluation method for corrosion from the appearance of rust on weathering steel structures — Part 1: Principle and classification

Apstrakt

This document specifies principles and a five-level classification for evaluating the corrosion condition of structural parts made of unpainted weathering steel from the appearance of rust. It provides criteria to support routine inspection and decisions on continued observation, further investigation, repair or reinforcement.
