The Institute for Standardization of Serbia (ISS) has developed this portal to provide information about Serbian and European harmonized standards, as well as national technical regulations aligned with Directive 2006/42/EC and its amendments.
About the portal
The portal represents the easiest way to find Serbian standards that represent the adoptions of the European harmonized standards (hEN) in the field of machinery. It ensures an updated list and comprehensive overview of hEN, enabling manufacturers (primarily small and medium-sized enterprises), distributors, importers, and other professionals and users involved in the processes of standardization, accreditation, conformity assessment, testing, inspection, and certification of products to obtain all necessary information about standards supporting the application of the Rulebook on Safety of Machinery in the Republic of Serbia, or Directive 2006/42/EC and its Amendments from the Directive 2009/127/EC, in a simple and accessible manner without the need to search other websites. All interested parties in the Republic of Serbia can regularly follow and receive information about the standards they need here.

Terminology database
The terminology related to machinery is derived from the general terminological database of the Institute, which contains more than 30,000 terms. This portal includes terms from standards necessary for the implementation of the Rulebook on Safety of Machinery.
Serbian conformity mark and CE mark
In accordance with the Rulebook on safety of machinery („Official Gazette of the RS“, No. 58/16 and 21/20), hereinafter: Rulebook, the manufacturer, before placing the machine on the market and/or in use, among other things, has the obligation to place the mark of conformity on the machine, in accordance with Article 12 of this Rulebook.
